The brief
Ask Setu is an AI-powered career coach for people making education and job decisions — scholarships, colleges, roles. We designed UI/UX for both the mobile app and the web experience so the product feels like one system.
The challenge
Career tools mix high stakes with low patience. Users want guidance without feeling trapped in a chatbot gimmick. The UI had to make AI assistance feel trustworthy: clear next steps, human-readable outputs, and flows that respect serious decisions.
Research and concept
We dug into how career platforms are actually used — not how pitch decks describe them. That meant personas, journey maps, and a sitemap before visual design. Wireframes came next so the client could react to structure early.
Only after wireframes were approved did we move into hi-fi. That sequence protected the project from polishing the wrong flow.

Outcome
Ask Setu received a coherent product UI across devices — researched, structured, and designed for implementation — on about a three-week timeline in Figma.
