The brief
A navigation mobile app designed around better day-to-day UX: browse locations by category or suggestion, with talk-back support so drivers can stay focused on the road.
The challenge
Maps apps drown people in chrome. The brief asked for something simpler — browse, choose, go — with voice talk-back reducing the need to poke at the screen while driving.
Approach
We prioritized:
- Category and suggestion browsing that feels light
- Clear selection → route moments
- Talk-back oriented interaction so attention stays on the road
Visual design stayed quiet on purpose. In navigation, ornament is a distraction.
What we designed
- Location browsing by category and suggestions
- Core navigation UI patterns
- Talk-back friendly states and confirmations
- Mobile layouts optimized for glanceability
Outcome
A cleaner navigation experience aimed at safer, simpler trips — less map wrestling, more moving.
